This is an informal fun run. You need to be completely self-supported. I have no plans to turn this into an "official" event. If others wish to do so, you have my blessing to take it over and approach the Forest Preserve and see if we can get a "real official" event next year. It wouldn't take much more than liability insurance, park camping approval, a port-o-potty, and one aid station. Maybe a volunteer or two. Seems doable...if there is interest in an official event. How far do you want to go?
